Make It Better – Spotlight on Kate’s Place

As part of our Make it Better charitable giving program, Paris is a proud sponsor of Kate’s Place.

Kate’s Place is a non-profit social program that provides a safe and friendly environment for developmentally delayed teens and young adults in Moorestown, New Jersey. The program is designed to be a place where those who are not able to be on their own have the ability to socialize, build special friendships, and enjoy each other’s company without feeling out of place. The program provides opportunities to participate in a variety of activities such as yoga, ballroom dance, karate, crafts, and more. They host fun events such as proms, Halloween and Christmas parties, walks, and more. They also give back to their local community through a work program, where the group works on different projects to help those in need.

Paris is proud to support Kate’s Place and their mission to provide a place where developmentally delayed teens and young adults are free to have fun, make friends, and be themselves!

“Make it Better” was established so employees could partake in giving back on behalf of Paris. Employees can nominate local charities that are near and dear to them. The nomination is then reviewed by an employee panel to be sure it fits within certain established criteria.
