Paris has a long history of charitable donations with a particular emphasis on helping those in need as well as the promotion of the free enterprise system, which has made our success possible. In 2012, Paris employees came together to collect items for the victims of Hurricane Sandy. There was such an overwhelming response, that our CEO was moved to create an internal charitable giving program.
“Make it Better” was established so that employees could partake in giving back on behalf of Paris. Each employee can nominate local charities near and dear to them, to receive a contribution. The nomination is then reviewed by an employee panel to be sure it fits within certain established criteria. We also welcome suggestions which can be sent through our Contact Us page.
Kate’s Place is a social program for developmentally delayed teens and young adults in Moorestown, New Jersey. The program is designed for those who are not able to be on their own, but have the inherent human need for a feeling of independence and socialization with their peers. At Kate’s Place they have the ability to build special friendships and enjoy each others company without feeling like they are out of place. They are able to participate in physical activities such as ballroom dance, yoga, and karate as well as a work program that benefits the local community.
Paris is proud to support Kate’s Place and their mission to support developmentally delayed teens and young adults. For more information about this organization, please visit their website katesplaceinc.org.
