Make It Better – Spotlight on The Little Sisters of the Poor
As part of our Make it Better charitable giving program, Paris is a proud sponsor of The Little Sisters of the Poor.
The Little Sisters of the Poor focuses on hospitality to the elderly community. This international congregation of Roman Catholic women religious group was founded in 1839 by Saint Jeanne Jugan. Together with a diverse network of collaborators, they serve the elderly poor in over 30 countries around the world.
Little Sisters of the Poor offers the neediest elderly of every race and religion a home where they will be welcomed as Christ, cared for as family and accompanied with dignity until God calls them to himself.
They serve the elderly day and night, striving to meet their physical needs, to make them happy and to minister to them spiritually. This is only accomplished by working together as a community, each one bringing her gifts and talents to the work of hospitality.
Paris is proud to support The Little Sisters of the Poor and thanks them for all their effort and hard work for Making It Better. For more information about this organization, please visit their website littlesistersofthepoor.org

“Make it Better” was established so employees could partake in giving back on behalf of Paris. Employees can nominate local charities that are near and dear to them. The nomination is then reviewed by an employee panel to be sure it fits within certain established criteria.
We also welcome suggestions. If you have an organization that you would like to recommend, you can do so through our through our Contact Us page.
