After practicing art therapy as a method of recovery from a traumatic brain injury, she fell in love with the form of cardmaking and all of the creative freedom that it has to offer. She found art to be a fundamental part of her healing process, and in turn, has joined a part of a number of crafting design teams, and found a true sense community in the process!
