National Forest Products Week: Two Sides Anti-Greenwashing Campaign
Is paper bad for the environment? Two Sides North America is a global initiative that is busting the myths that lead consumers to believe it is. Their goal is to promote “the sustainability of the Graphic Communications Industry by publicizing the positive steps that the industry is taking to reduce its environmental impact.”
Their anti-greenwashing campaign is correcting the misleading claims related to the use of paper when companies use phrases such as “go paperless” or “save trees”. Through this campaign they hope to encourage every member of the print and paper value chain to engage in these responsible business practices. We hope that their efforts allow more consumers to see the truth of responsible forest management, so they can feel good about the products they use every day.
