With over 47 years in the printing industry, Don Showmaker has a depth and knowledge unmatched by many in his field. His career began in an entry level position, which opened the door to become a pressman, a supervisor and plant manager.

In 2001, Don was approached and hired by Jim Quinn, Director of Operations at that time, for an opportunity with Paris as their Plant Manager. Don now oversees 111,360 square feet of production and warehouse space combined.

His responsibility extends beyond producing product to benchmark standards. It also includes overseeing aspects of new processes, building and grounds improvements, equipment purchases, taking Comp to computer to Plate, roll work, UV printing, supply chain management, and improving manufacturing efficiency.

Back in 2004, Don was a key player in planning and executing the move from the Kissel Road location into the new Westampton Corporate building. A tremendous undertaking which demonstrated the hard work and dedication of Paris’ employee’s ability to provide quality service without any interruptions to their customers.

Don has continuously received recognition for great performance numbers year after year. He believes people are great on all levels, and you always have more to learn each day and there is never a dull moment.

Don Showmaker will be retiring in August 2020 after an impressive tenure in the printing industry.
